Bid Process

  1. We provide a free consultation to collect the 'high level' requirements for your project. This information is collected through a series of in person, phone or email interviews.
  2. A proposal is developed that details the features we will develop and services we will provide for a specific price.
  3. You review the proposal and request any necessary changes
  4. You decide to accept the proposal and a contract is prepared
  5. Once the contract is signed one of our project teams is assigned and scheduled a date to begin work

Web Application Development Process

  1. One of our PMP certified project managers conducts an initial JAD session to gather the details requirements for your project.
  2. A detailed requirements document is prepared which you review and approve
  3. One of our Business Analysts develops the screen mockups and flow diagrams for the first phase of the project.
  4. These mockups and diagrams are gathered into a design document that you review and approve.
  5. The development team begins work. You are given access to a development server to review the latest builds; a defect tracking system to request changes and monitor outstanding efforts; a time tracking system to monitor hours used if your project is being billed hourly.
  6. The project manager updates you at least weekly on the progress and ensures the latest builds are on the development server for your review
  7. When the project is feature complete, it is placed into 'beta testing'. Synet's staff will begin to throughly test the site and your staff has the option to do the same
  8. When the known defects are fixed, a deployment date is scheduled
  9. The site is deployed to the host of your choice and your warranty period begins.
  10. During your warranty period your project manager and elements of your development team will remain available to fix any issues that are found
  11. You are given the option to purchase a maintenance contract for future enhancements and changes
